Taking Care of Sterling Silver

To keep your sterling silver pieces looking brand new make sure to store your pieces in a safe and dry place. Take your sterling silver pieces off when working out, swimming, and cleaning with harsh chemicals. Also avoid spraying perfumes directly on your silver pieces. When cleaning your silver use a mild soap and a soft toothbrush and make sure to fully dry the piece. 

The tarnish that begins to appear on your silver is due to a chemical reaction. Tarnish is a result of the silver reacting due to oxygen, moisture, and/or chemicals.
